| About Us | Provides a range of art activities for young people and adults in North Glasgow with emphasis on 5-18yr olds. We also run the ‘Ignite’ programme for young volunteers aged 14-19yrs. We regularly run workshops in drama, trapeze, circus, music/lyrics, visual arts, photography/film and environmental arts for young people aged 5-18yrs. We are based in the St Matthews Centre, Possilpark and have a drop in base called ‘The Space’ on Saracen St, Possilpark. We also run the ignite programme supporting young people aged 14-19yrs to gain their arts awards and MV awards for volunteering in the arts. We manage aspects of the Concrete Garden at St Matthews centre which is a newly developed community growing space. We are members of Possilpark Greenspace Group and have adopted ‘The Claypits’ site in Hamiltonhill as an area we would like to develop and enhance through the arts. We run an ever changing programme of activities for adults also and encourage full community participation in all aspects of the arts. |
