NGARN unleashes the creative potential within North Glasgow
History
A North Glasgow Arts network was forged through a desire within the local arts sector to develop stronger partnerships that would allow them to bring additional benefit to the local communities, increase opportunities to participate in the arts and develop their artistic practice through shared working.
NGARN has been in existence since 2003 and has been a central driver for significant arts and regeneration work within the area, from delivering The Culture Matters Research Project and Report with the Glasgow Caledonian University Cultural Business School to establishing "Festival of the Imagination", the biggest arts festival in North Glasgow to date.
